Could Pain In Neck And Upper Jaw Indicate Osteoarthritis?

I am currently having neck pain from issues I am not sure of yet. Some osteo arthritis Maybe a disc problem. I have not yet had an mri. recently I started having jaw pain on my right side. Mostly higher up on the jaw. I was wondering if the jaw pain could be related to my neck issues. The pain is excruciating.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Repetitive strain and intervertebral disc prolapse can be the issue. Avoid high pillows and use an Orthopedic pillow while sleeping. You can also use a soft cervical collar while working to avoid strain. I would suggest NSAIDs like Ibuprofen along with Muscle relaxants like Cyclobenzaprine. Physiotherapy like TENS and neck muscle strengthening exercises will be helpful.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
