Could Pain In The Legs During Day Be Due To Menopause?

I am 49 years old and am in menopause. I recently went to my doctor and know my symptoms are severe...hot flashes, night sweats, etc. Something else that I am having a lot of trouble with and not sure it is connected to menopause is both of my legs are KILLING me. They ache so bad during the day, sometimes I just HAVE to get off of my feet. When I go to bed at night and wake up the next morning, I feel fine but then the aching starts all over again. I also notice that when I sit and my legs are in bent position, when I get up they hurt and ache again. Is this just part of menopause or should I be worried about something else being wrong? I know menopause can also bring on muscle aches but this is crazy. Sometimes I can barely walk!

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Aching and pain in the legs are usually due to electrolyte deficiency, calcium deficiency or vitamin D deficiency.
It is not very common in menopause.
I will suggest you to get your sodium and potassium levels, calcium levels and vitamin D levels checked and get appropriate treatment timely.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
