Could Painful, Pinkish Tongue With Crack Like Scars While Being On Medication For Diabetes Indicate Vitamin Deficiency?
Hi, My tongue started to become light painful when I am eating and swallowing,the color is pink on the sides and white color on top, and has changing cracks like scares. This condition is changing from light to very bad, but does not disappear ( I did wash my mought with Listerine without effect). I have Diabetes II and I am taking three kind of pills for that. Is this related to vitamin deficiency or is this symptom of some other disease? Herk
Hi, From history it seems that due to diabetes there might be having spreading of fungal infection in mouth and tongue. Apply gention violet on tongue. Take some vitamin B.complex, folic acid tablet for few days. Ok and take care.
