Could Painful Ulcer On Tongue And Ear Ache Be Related?

Hi there, have had a really painful ulcer on the right side of my tongue for around 5 days now and have excruciating ear ache in my right ear when I catch the ulcer or eat anything. Have already tried corsodyl mouthwash and aloclair but ulcer/ ear ache doesn't seem to be budging! Any suggestions? :( from charlotte

hello, tongue ulcers which always show pain in respective ear, because tongue and ear are supplied by same nerve. u can apply dentogel ( contains local anaesthetic) three times daily,tab.metrogyl 400mg twice daily for 5 days.
