Could Persistent Spotting Indicate Pregnancy?

I got my period on 2/28 I usually have a 31 day cycle. On 3/21 I started spotting and it lasted 2 weeks. I started spotting a little more on 3/31 and its the 2nd and I have light bleeding. could it be pregnancy? I took a test on 3/27 but it was negative.

Hi,
I understand your query & concern.
The pregnancy test you did was a bit earlier, urine pregnancy test is reliable after 8 days of expected day of next period.
Such bleeding can also be due to -
Cervical erosion, cervical polyp, hormonal imbalance, PDOD & pregnancy with hormone deficiency.
* You need to consult a gynecologist after getting your pregnancy test repeated -after 1st week of April
_ If pregnancy test is +ve, a USG to know details of prgnancy & hormone replacement accordingly is needful.
_ if pregnancy test is -ve, clinical/ local examination by an expert gynecologist , investigations as per need should be done to pin point the cause followed by specific treatment.
