Could Pleural Thickening In The Right Lung Have Healed On Its Own?

in the last 20 years I have had numerous xrays and a ct scan that read positive for plueral thicking in the right lung. last xray I had , the doctor said that there was no sign of it. I did work with asbestos for ten years. quit smoking 25 years ago. so can it just go away?

welcome to hcm ...sir the pleural thickening goes away after many years ..usually asbestosis like pleural thickening develops over 15 to 20 years and it takes more years to go away
as such exact no years can not be given for these things
