Could Pregnancy Be Possible Due To Cervical Cancer Cells?
Hello.....a lady I know is 42 years old and had her tubes tied greater than 17 years ago. She also has cervical cancer cells that are requiring chemo and or radiation. She says she is 18 weeks pregnant and the dr told her she has two weeks to decide whether to keep the baby or terminate the pregnancy and have treatment....could this even be possible?
Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion the pregnancy is possible if she is sexually active and there might be failure of tubectomy. But cervical cancer cells are not the cause for pregnancy. As the termination is possible upto 20 weeks 2 weeks time is given to decide. Best regards...Dr Srilatha
