Could Presence Of Hair Cause Sore On Pierced Ear?

Hi my daughter who is 7 years old had her ears pierced 13 weeks ago but when you take them out theirs still a little sore? And her right one in particular bleeds a little?. No pus though, we did notice about 3 weeks that her hair was in the hole and we pulled out and cleaned it could this be the reason?

Hi,welcome to healthcare magic forum.
It is already three months after the ear was pierced.Persisting soreness and clear discharge points toward allergy to the ornament..Allergic problems usually comes down in 2-3 days of removing the ornament.Just try a different material(change between copper/gold/silver/platinum/fancy items). If problem persists,it is better to see your doctor to rule out infection and to see whether it needs antibiotics.
Meanwhile, keep the area clean and dry.
I hope you will find this information useful.Thank you.
