Could Recurrent Fainting, Tingling In Ears And Discomfort In Spine Be Interrelated?

I have had fainting spells since I was 14 (I m 35 now). Thier not frequent, less than 1 per year. I had thought it was my blood sugar bottoming out, the last time it was tested during a woosy spell it was 45. I had went for several years with no fainting until 5 months ago. So I completely changed my diet, I ve been eating nothing but healthy food and have lost 27 lbs in 2 months. But I fainted again this morning. I noticed a couple of years ago that the inside of both of my ears keep going completely numb, like a limb that is asleep, tingling. And a sound in the base of my spine that sounds almost like soda fizz. It is where my spine connects to my head. The sound is very loud in my ears, but no one else can hear it. It last about 15 to 20 seconds. Could this all be connected?
