Could Recurring Infections Along With Blood In Ear Be Due To Ear Tubes?

Hi,my name is Angela and ive had ear probloms all my life. I have had ear tubes in my ears numerous times over the years but i had the last ones put about 8-9 years ago. The one in my right ear fell out but the one in my left ear is still there. I get ear infections a lot in that ear also. The past week or so im finding blood in my ear especially in the mornings. Both fresh and old blood. And its starting to throb and hurt and getting worse as the days are going by. Im planning on going to to the ER about this but i know they can only do but so much about it. I also have a drs appointment with my practitioner on May 1rst. They its feeling im going to need treatment pretty soon because im feeling lousy. What could possibly be causing this? Its starting to scare me and ive a good amount of hearing over the years. I usually dont google symptoms but i did this time and its the first. Ive came across ear cancer when i typed in my symptoms. Ive never heard of such a thing but apparently its a real disease. Please can someone help?
