Could Severe Constipation Be The Cause For Pain In Buttocks And Thighs?
Hi, i am a 45 yr old female. I ve recently developed pain in my bum and thighs, it s quite uncomfortable and scary. I have had severe constipation and bloating for some time...could this be the cause? I hurt my knees recently and i have pain walking and climbing stairs but i ddon t believe this has any relation to my thigh pain. Hope you can advise. Thank you.
Hello. Welcome to HCM. See, first of all pain in buttocks and thighs is unlikely due to constipation. You have knee pain also and your age is 45, so chances of osteoporosis is there. Also, do you have diabetes or hypertension? Is there any history of trauma to hip or pelvis? Get back to me with the answers and I can help you further. Also, take syrup lactulose 15ml before sleep for constipation. And visit a physician for your knee pain etc.
Hope this was useful. Regards
