Could Severe Cough With Pain In Legs Be Due To Pneumonia?
My three year old son has a cough and has been complaining about his legs being tired and hurting him. He will play but tires quickly and will lay down. Could his cough be developing into something more serious, such as pneumonia? Should I be concerned about his tired legs?
Thanks for your question on HCM. I can understand your situation and problem.. Pneumonia can cause weakness and this can cause lower limb pain. Since he is coughing and not improving with treatment, better to rule out pneumonia first. So consult pulmonologist and get done chest x ray to rule out pneumonia. If pneumonia is present then your child may require hospitalization and intravenous antibiotics. So consult doctor and discuss all these.
