Hello I am dating someone with hepatitis C and am worried about becoming infected. I have seen studies saying that transmission through intercourse was less than 2%. Any advice about kissing, oral sex, and intercourse? I can understand your concern for the hepatitis C infection after sexual relationship with a person.
It is quite common to find such kind of apprehension after the sexual intercourse and that too of unprotected type. In general Hepatitis C infection is caused by blood to blood contact or by sharing needles or intravenous drug abuse. Sexual mode is not a common type of mode of infection in hepatitis C. SO do not worry about the same. You can get further guidance from your treating doctor.
