Could Shortness Of Breath And Light Headedness Be Symptoms Of Panic Attack?

I had a co-arc repair at 18 months, been healthy as a horse for many years. Always have taken pre-antibiotics about 6 amoxicillin before any procedure or appointment. I got a tattoo on valentines day without taking premeds, now I m experiencing shortness of breath, heavy chest, very tired, chills (cold), light headed with headaches The only issue is that I have severe depression and high anxiety and I m sure if I m having a panic attack.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The symptoms that you have mentioned could be due to panic attack.
A history of mood disorders increases the possibility of panic attack.
However, shortness of breath and heavy chest can also occur in cardiac problem.
Thus, a clinical assessment of the cardiovascular system is necessary to rule out any cardiovascular disorder.
I suggest you to consult a cardiologist for clinical assessment to rule out any cardiac abnormality.
If no cardiac abnormality is detected, a psychiatric opinion will be required.

Thanks and take care
