Could Significant Pain For 2 Days After Pushing An Electric Screwdriver Into My Rib Be Due To A Soft Tissue Injury Rather Than A Cracked Rib?

I pushed the end of an electric screw driver into my rib trying to get my umph...behind a long woodscrew. Something happened..pain...now 2 days later allot of pain...I think it the soft tip not a cracked or broken rib...I m not in a position to get an xray....remote location
