Could Small, Painless Mouth Ulcer Inside Lower Lip With History Of Having Unprotected Oral Sex Indicate Acute HIV?

Hello!
I had protected vaginal sex and unprotected oral sex with a prostitute while I was in Amsterdam. And after four days I had a small painless mouth ulcer inside my lower lip . And I am really scared and couldn't sleep since I got that this is tenth day and it seems vanishing .but I read it is symptom of acute hiv . I am really scared after knowing this . What is the possibility of me contacting hiv. I am really worried . Is it a symptom of hiv?.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

There is nothing to worry about HIV.
Oral sex carries a low risk for HIV.
Earliest manifestations of HIV can occur only after 4-6 weeks after the possible infection, if any. Anything earlier than this, as in your case (four days), not likely to be due to HIV.
There is a possibility of your tiny healed lip ulcer to be due to Herpes simplex type 1 ulcer or aphthous ulcer.
