Could Sore Throat With Swelling And Pain Be Due To Smoking?
Thank You. My name is Patricia and my question is that I've been smoking for years now and all of a sudden I get a sore throat on the left side of my neck and its swollen and it hurt. It started really bad last sunday morning when I woke up it was hurting bad. Now it's a week later and It still hurts but not as bad as last week. Every time I smoke it does that but not as bad as last week. And I also have Sinusitis as well. Could it be that I have throat cancer or is it from the Sinusitis? Theres also pressure around my jaw bone area. left side.

Well smoking is indeed a leading predisposing factor of cancer but without examination and investigation it can't be label as cancer of any part of the throat
Smoking frequently leads to laryngitis
