Could Spotting During Masturbation Be Due To Broken Hymen?
I was masturbating with my hairbrush handle (yes, I cleaned it before use) I was going a bit rough and it was starting to hurt a little, I sat up and there was a red ish/ brown ish colour liquid coming from my vagina, this liquid has not continued, I am not due for my period. I have no idea what has happened, I m 13 and I don t want to tell my parents about it. Has my hymen broken? Would I have torn something? Is there chance of an infection, if so what are some household creams or something that I can use to not be in risk of infection? And plus I m a virgin, would this have changed because of what happened? I m quite worried/scared to what has happened.
Hi thanks for your question. First of all relax and don't be tense.During masterbation there may be little injury to your vaginal wall/hymn.Small amount of blood due to vaginal trauma mixed with normal vaginal secretions can give rise to brownish discharge. There is nothing to worry, although chances of infection are there. If discharge remain continue ,you may need consultation with a doctor who may be able to prescribe you antibiotics.Rupture of hymen can only be ascertained by physical examination. l would like to suggest you that at this age you should avoid such things. Hope this answers your questions
