I had an EKG yesterday prior to Monday s knee surgery and it came out abnormal ? I have diabetes 2 and my sugar was running low when I took the EKG not to mention being stressed over ths surgery . Could this be the cause for the abnormal reading ? I have to see my reg Dr tomorrow to get clearance for surgery . Thank you .

if your EKG has been reported based on computer generated report this abnormality may not be fully clinically significant. Stress can definitely cause some minor alterations in EKG. It's best to consult a doctor with your EKG. also dont forget to take your previous EKG with you. Comparison with Previous EKG helps.
