Could Sudden Sharp Pain In Lower Abdomen Be Due To Incomplete Abortion?
Good afternoon. I m experiencing sudden sharp pain in my lower belly probably after doing medical abortion incompletely. on my follow up exam from first set of pills the doctor said that it was incomplete and have me misoprostole again. Second time nothing happened, no bleeding at all and moreover it seemed like it stopped. This was 3 days ago. Today I woke up from crazy sharp pain. Should I go to emergency room or wait until my next follow up appointment, that should be in 2 days? My doctor is away for now
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern as long as the abortion is concern it always has some complication later on and it would be more dangerous if this was surgical abortion, you need to be very much alert for any pain and discomfort if ever happens in lower abdomen, better to go for ultrasonography test, to rule out any complication, take care, have a nice day.
