Could Surgery For Hip Fracture Cause Severe Itching All Over Body?
my 83 year old mother just had surgery for a hip fracture 2 weeks ago. She has developed severe itching all over. They changed her pain medication, but it has not helped. This same thing happened when she had knee replacement. Does surgery cause itching??

Your mother has gone through the major surgery so obviously she must have been given many drugs, so the chances of developing hypersensitivity of that drugs might be possible, but this is nothing to worry this would come around soon take a good care of your mother, have nice day.
