Could Swelling And Soreness In Lips Be Due To Blisters?

Hello doctors, For the past week or so, my inner upper lip above my canine had been swore. Today, a small pimple-like bump has appeared on the same spot on my outer lip. On the inside, it s slightly swolen and still a bit sore. Is this an inner pimple or should I be concerned about something else?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
A pimple or blister on the lip can cause pain and swelling on the lip.
Blisters on lips and oral mucosa are commonly due to aphthous ulcers.
Take plenty of water and vitamin B complex for quick recovery.
If the blister is painful, you can use topical anesthetic agent to cause numbness over the site and thus relieve the pain over the site of blister.

Thanks and take care
