Could Swelling Cause Blurred Vision Randomly?

Hi there, I am 33 years old wear contacts and my right gets blurey for 8 to 24 hours then clears up but never becomes perfectly clear. This just keeps cycling good bad good bad. I went to the eye doctor and he said everthing looks good other than a litle bit of swelling. Could swelling cause this random blurieness. I have been wearing my glasses for a week with no changes.

Hello,
It seems from the history that you are having blurring of vision after wearing contact lenses.
This may be because of contact lens induced hypoxia because of tight fitting of the contact lens.
The hypoxia will lead to corneal swelling or edema and this can cause random blurring of vision.

Hence I advice you to consult your optometrist or ophthalmologist for evaluation of contact lens fitting.

Thank you
