Could Swelling On Tongue Along With Rashes Be Due To Zentiva?

Hello I hurt my back the other day and i took at 7.30 in the morning 2 panadol then at 11 i took my friends prescribed zentiva i took 2 and ive had a allergic reaction my tongue swelled iv got a rash and keep going hot and cold and all my joints are hurting. Iv just been to see a doctor in a walk in medical center but i don t think she quite got what i was saying can you advise me what to do please? She said at first that i should take paracetamol 3 times a day then she changed her mind and said i should take ibuprofen 3 times a day but im confused Thank you Kalie

Thanks for the query..

As per your complain it seems that you have got an allergic reaction to the pain medication you have taken and it has led to the symptoms of tongue swelling, a rash and keep going hot and cold and joints are hurting.
First thing I would like to tell you is that you should take anti allergics like Levocetrizine for relieving the allergy symptoms...
You can also gargle with 1:! solution of Benadryl and milk of magnesia..
Gargle with numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
As far as decision regarding taking Paracetamol or Ibuprofen is concerned, you can continue taking Panadol as it seems to be suiting you and will not cause further discomfort..
