Could Taking A TB Test Trigger An Outbreak Of Genital Herpes?

I have been told that I have genital herpes, but I have never had any symptoms or out breaks. I have done a lot of research on the topic, and have learned that stress can cause an out break. I was wondering if getting a TB test could trigger an out break?

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

TB testing is for bacteria and herpes is caused by a virus. A TB test cannot cause outbreak of herpes in anyone. TB testing is not related to herpes positive results.
