Could Taking Tetralysal During Early Pregnancy Stage Cause Any Problems?

Hi, I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks ago which would make me now 10 weeks. I have been on Tetralysal 300 one cap per day for the first 8 weeks of pregnancy which I stopped as soon as I found out, can this be a problem, it is difficult to get straight answers and I havent had my first antenatal check yet?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Tetralysal is a broad spectrum antibiotic & is known to have effect on bones/ teeth of unborn baby.
- Any way you had taken it in first 8 weeks of pregnancy & you did not have any pregnancy check up yet.I would advise you to get your 1st check up done the earliest, inform doctor about consumption of The Tetralysal capsules- so as to facilitate him in taking some preventive majors & minimize the side effect on baby.
Thanks.
