Could Tear Secretion, Burning And Irritation Be Related To Lazy Eye?
Hi Doctor, i m 24 male, i have a left lazy eye. i was diagnosed with lazy eye 2 years back, i ve not done any treatment for it , and i have not wearing glasses from past two years. i spend long hours in front of computer because of my job. as of now there is a constant burning sensation and irritation to light , tear secretion in my right eye(good eye).Is this related to my lazy eye? and if so is there any treatment for that? Can you suggest me good doctors or hospitals in bangalore ? thanks.
It is not related to lazy eye. rather it is computer vision syndrome. You should not constantly stare at computer for along time. install anti glare screen before computer screen. apply artificial tear eye drop in between. Take break look outside from window. blink properly.
It seems from the history that you are having watering, burning of eyes, irritation and you work for long hours in front of computer. These symptoms are not related to lazy eye. These symptoms are because of dry eyes caused by overuse of computer called as computer vision syndrome. The treatment of the conditions is by use of artificial tears eye drops and avoiding the use of computer for long continuous hours by taking frequent breaks in between.
Thank you
