Hello,

I assume your dog is well vaccinated at regular intervals. If not, then you need to seek medical help for the injury as there is risk of getting infection with rabies virus which is fatal if not treated on time. Visit a doctor and get vaccine shots as per the advice.

A bruise takes time to heal, take enough rest. Apply ice on the swelling if present. It should fade away with time and change color with recovery. It is normal to feel pain on touching a bruise. So do not worry. It will get better with time.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
