Hi,

Thyroid disorders and PCOD can interfere with chances of conceiving by causing hormone imbalances and thereby the ovulation. Diabetes can coexist with hormone disorders and correction of insulin resistance through medication in PCOD often results in spontaneous ovulation. Since you have been trying for one year with no success in conception, I suggest you see a specialist for proper evaluation and further guidance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam, OBGYN
