Could The Blood Pressure Be Due To Stress Or Something Else?

At about 5 pm today I had taken my blood pressure and it read systolic 155 diastolic 101 and pulse 76. I am currently on meds for high blood. I currently have six stents. I have been under a fair bit of stress lately so could the blood pressure be due to the stress or something else?

Hi
Even though stress is a predisposing factor for hypertension, in your clinical background, don't attribute a raise in blood pressure simply to stress.
Multiple BP recordings are required before making a decision.
But if BP is persistently high , you need a review of your medication and optimisation

Thank you
