Could The Bump Inside Cheeks Be A Cancerous Tumor?

I have a small bump on the inside of my cheeks that fits perfectly into the space of a missing molar. It has been there for quite some time and doesn't appear to change in size. it only hurts if I mess with it and irritate it. I am concerned it may be a cancerous tumor of some sort.
