Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Whenever there is a swelling over the mons pubis, it is ideal to clean the area with a mild antiseptic solution and apply ice packs to reduce the swelling and thereby the pain. Application of ointments meant for use on ordinary skin lead to inflammatory reaction as this skin is sensitive. The itching and burning micturition could be secondary to the waxing process itself and not due to the ointment. Please get proper evaluation along with urinalysis and get treated. Take plenty of liquids. Hope this helps.
