my wife is used meprate capsuel, only three capsuel used three days,now iam very upset and affraid because my wife period is not come , she is actual period dates 5 days before.but still not come , kindly clarify my doubts , any problem or side effects? how many days will take normal period? kindly help...

Hello,
The cause of the delayed period is the intake of the hormone medication. Withdrawal bleeding can be seen usually 3-7 days after completion of the treatment. If she does not get a period even after this time interval, further investigation is necessary. If you are sexually active without any contraception, pregnancy should be considered as a possible cause. Please see a gynecologist for further appraisal of the situation.
