Hi,

Your history says you've taken 20mg of Primolut for 5 days, where usually 10 to 15mg of dose is enough to postpone your cycle. Once you are on the tablets, you could experience symptoms like abdominal cramp, abdominal heaviness, Nausea, headache, tender breast, acne, rash,Fatigue etc. which are usually effects of hormonal changes in the body.

There are chances it might affect your next cycle & it depends on when is the due of your ovulation. Also intake of it could affect your HPT test results & the baby if your are pregnant & also not to be taken if you are breastfeeding.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya Vasudevan, General & Family Physician
