Could The Early Menstruation Be Due To Implantation?
My period last month was spotting for a whole week. This month (two weeks ago) it was a week early but heavy for three days. Now I have brown discharge. I'm not on any BC but my husband and I are using condoms. Is this breakthrough bleeding? I took an at-home test last month that was negative.
Implantation bleeding typically defined as a small amount of light spotting or bleeding that occurs about 10 to 14 days after conception. The chances of pregnancy is less since both the partners have used protection.
Early menstruation can normally occur in certain patients. Heavy bleeding, bleeding with clots for more than 7 days or bleeding occurring many times in a month is considered abnormal. Anti-fibrinolytics may be required if heavy bleeding continues.
