Could The Fetus Alive Without Showing Heart Beats?

Hi, am 12week 5dys.. Just did an u/s this afternoon but couldn t see any HB.. furthermore the fetal size was only 11wks2dys and fluid behind the back of neck measured 3.6... Is there any chance that my fetus could still be alive? No symptoms of miscarriage yet... What should I do ? Please advice

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion a variation of 1 week or 10 days is normal and routinely seen.But absence of heart beat is not a good sign.In case of missed abortion there might be no sign of miscarriage like spotting or pain abdomen.So i suggest you to consult your doctor and get examined.Iam sorry my aim is not to make you tense but giving you the information.
