Could The Headaches Caused After The Accident Due To Concussion?

Recently I met with an accident and got head injury. Reports told that concussion occured. After that incident I get frequent headaches. Is it due to that concussion? Even we had taken CT scan followup after that accident and results were normal. But I'm confused regarding this. Please help me.

I can understand your concern. Concussion is a type of blunt head injury which results into momentary loss of consciousness. It is usually self resolving head injury. It can cause problem if there are multiple episodes of concussion injury. In such case, it can cause behavioural problems like irritability, headache, memory deficits, poor concentration.

For headache, you can take
: Painkiller like Diclofenac sodium for relief. Usual dose is 50mg thrice a day what I prescribe. You can take it after proper prescription.
: You can apply icepacks at injury site.
: take bed rest for relief.
