Could The Hoarse Voice Be A Sign Of Cancer In Throat?

Went to aEar nose throat doctor , I had a hoarse voice for about 2months would not get better he said I had a burst blood vessel in my throar and some bruising. Well tha t has been almost 5 weeks ago and still know improvement. Could this be a sign of cancer of my throat?

Hi,
As this problem is since long, it requires evaluation in your case.
you might require indirect laryngoscopy to rule out any lesion on vocalb cord.
There can be some nodule or some swelling on vocal cord.
Quit the habit of smoking or chewing Gutkha if you are having habit of it.
Meanwhile do listerine or feel fresh liquid gargles.
Give rest to vocal cord.
Ok and take care.
