Could The Metallic Taste In The Mouth Be Heart Related?

Hello. I am a 36 year old mother of two. I have prolonged QT syndrome. My question is this, I have been having a metallic taste in my mouth for the last week and a half. Its not my meds and its not a dental problem. (I went to the dentist yesterday.) Could this be heart related? If it is, how?

Brief:

Does not seem to be.
Detailed:

Hello

Thank You for contacting HCM.

Welcome to Health Care Magic.

My name is Dr Muhammad Ahmad & i will look into your problem.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way.

I understand your concern and let me mention this that heart issues don;t result in metallic taste in mouth either that's your meds or you might have acidity issue in stomach, you can use an antacid to relieve that, hopefuly that will help you. If your heart is functioning well there is no way that this taste is because of heart issue.

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow
up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us.
Wishing you good health
