Could The Pencil Have Torn The Hymen Or Is It Vaginal Bleeding?

I'm a female, I havent gotten my period yet, yesterday I was masturbating and I inserted a pencil ( not the sharp end and it was covered ) into my vagina, and this morning I discovered a large patch of blood on my pj shorts - so my question is - have I just gotten my first period or have I torn or broken or scratched my hymen or something else in my vagina
