Could The Persistent Headache Indicate A Side Effect Of The Medicine?

Hi, I m sanchita frm Gwalior. Was detected with GD in my 29th week for which m put on strict diet and insulin. However, now at 32.5 weeks after taking betnesol inj. 12 mg twice the readings that were 75-90 fasting and 120-160 pp have gone upto 140 fasting and 190-280 pp. I also have persistent headache. Are these the side effects of the dose??? Also, due to diet control the feotus is underweight, ie 1670 at 32.5 weeks... Please advice.

Blood sugar may increase with steroids. Headache of persistent nature require evaluation and fundus examination. Brain MRI may be needed too.
