Could The Purple Stained Mark On The Back Of Head Be Cancer?
My husband has a purple stained mard on the back of his head. It s not raised or oozing or anything. I think it s a stork bite and he probably had it since he was born. He insists he s had his head shaved several years ago and it wasn t there. Is there a chance it could be cancer?

If the mark remains as such for long time,you need not worry.This indicates a benign marking.Only if this undergoes changes like change in size/shape/contour,itching,pain,bleeding etc,we need to evaluate for malignant changes.If such changes occur,a biopsy is advised.
