Could The Severe Pain In Shoulder Be Aggravated By The Stung Of Bee?

my husband has shoulder nerve damage from an old injury. The pain is bearable but 2 days ago he was stung by a bee. The pain has flared up and now is severe. Is there any connection?? Do you have any suggestions as to who to see or what to do to alleviate it
