Sebaceous cysts are the most common type of cysts seen in the ear. Cysts may occur when oils are produced in a skin gland faster than they can be released from the gland. Swelling behind the ear could be infected lymph node also . There are many treatment options for sebaceous cyst like injection of anti inflammatory drugs , incision and drainage and laser technique . If antibiotics are not working then doctor may opt any of the above technique . So i would suggest you to consult doctor again for proper treatment .
