Could The Swelling In My Stomach Caused Due To Missed Gland?
my thyroid gland was removed 20 years ago I am taking depression pils and my stomach is very swollen sometimes looks as I am 9 monts pregnant...is it related to missing gland...I was takinc celesta for2 years and gain 30 pound in short time now ia m on different pills

Dear user, Hi ! after thyroid removal you must have been on thyroid replacement dose. if the dose is correct for you , you will have no problem with the thyroid being removed. swollen stomach is a odd statement. it means either fat deposition around stomach or it is fluid collection in the stomach. Ultrasound abdomen will tell you if there is any pathology , if not then it is fat and you need an exercise schedule and diet regulation. Regards!
