Could The Swollen Salivary Gland And Canker Sore-like Spot Under My Tongue Be A Salivary Stone?
Beginning yesterday the right side under my tongue began to hurt. Around 3am today took a look at it and the v part under my tongue (i believe salivary gland) was noticeably larger than the left (just overall larger, but still thin). and later today when i was looking under my tongue i flexed it and saw a white canker sore looking spot right on my salivary gland. from my quick research all leads back to it possibly being a salivary stone. but i’m asking this question because it looks almost identical to a canker sore, shaped like a pea (oval) and isn’t hard. i would also like to add that my lymph node is definitely swollen under my jaw on the same side which indicates either a bacterial or viral infection. but the sore doesn’t seem to be infected which leads me back to believing it could just be a canker sore in an unusual location. regardless i would greatly appreciate a doctors opinion on helping me deduce what it might be.
