Hi, I am a 17 year old male. I will be turning 18 in 2 months. I have been an upcoming singer for around 5 years. I experienced the puberty/voice cracks mainly early at around the age of 11-13. I used to be compared to that of my sister on the phone until the change. Now I am 17 and I have just recently as of maybe 8 months ago discovered what is known for singers as the head voice. I played around with it and usually sing songs far from my chest range and require me to solely sing head voice the majority of the time. Now as of maybe a week ago I wake up and my voice cracks when I try to hit the same notes I use to hit so well in head voice. Am I going through puberty again or maybe I have vocal nodules or polyps or something?
