Could There Be A False Positive In HPT In Early Pregnancy?
I am 5 days late on my period and I took an early detection pregnancy test last night which quickly showed a negative when I layed the test down on a flat surface. However, I took another one today and when I set the test down, I saw a very faint positive but it then disappeared and showed the dark negative line. Could this mean an early pregnancy?

Hi, I understand your concern. Reliable early pregnancy test is Blood HCG testing done in laboratory( around the expected date of periods). Home pregnancy test would give results after 8 days delay in pregnancy. Please repeat urine test at prescribed time. False +ve test can be due to expired pregnancy test kit/ polluted urine. Thanks.
