32, 220, 6 3 . I had an infected toenail, and it was bad enough where removal was the main option on the table. After 3 injections to the area of lidocaine, it still wouldn t get numb to where I would not scream during the process. My doctor and I decided to start a course of anti-biotics, and try to remove it later. I was given keflex. At 3pm, I took the first dose and became a bit drowsy. Second dose at bedtime. 6:30am, I was unresponsive, but breathing. I woke up in a hospital bed. I remember a vivid dream that felt like I was being suffocated in cellophane and falling at the same time. (Sort of similar to the time-travel scenes in 12 Monkeys, which I had seen recently.) I am curious, can I expect any long-term effects from what is apparently an allergic reaction to that class of medication, and is that sort of reaction common?
