Could Throbbing Pain In Lower Back Be Due To Kidney Infection?

I went to my doctor yesterday. I suspected I had a kidney infection. The lab hasn t sent the results. All day today and tonight I have had this constant throbbing pain in the right side of my back where my kidney is located. What should I do? I cannot rest.

HI
Well come to HCM
If the renal condition is suspected then some important test need to be done like x-ray, abdomen, urine test, renal function test, CT imaging, differential diagnosis is very important, because this may not be kidney infection, some time this could be muscular spasm, hope this information helps, take care.
